Ballroom Floor: Tibetan bonpo Monks perform sacred masked dances Saturday 25th June (Royal Festival Hall): Patti Smith performs Horses and The music of John Cale with special friends Flea, Nick Franglen, Terrie & Andy (The Ex), David Dramm, Dominic Blum, Lucas Niggli, Marino Pliakas as the Meatgrinders Saturday 25th June (Queen Elizabeth Hall): Tinariwen and support from Yat-Kha Sunday 26th June (Royal Festival Hall): Songs of Experience - the work of Jimi Hendrix and the music that inspired him feat Feat. Jeff Beck, Flea, Joanna Newsom, Balanescu Quartet, Yat-Kha and Patti Smith. There's also an exhibition of Patti Smith's photos, and more events still to be announced. Tickets are on sale.
