Gig For Life is a new music festival that has been created in support of Cancer Research UK. The festival will showcase local talent alongside famous acts while raising funds to combat cancer. It will take place on Saturday 27th May.

Line-up

Currently announced are Tom Robinson , Afro celt sound system, Kathryn Tickell & The Side, Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings, False Lights, The Young'uns, The Nightjar, Alistair Anderson and Northlands, Kings of the South Seas, Ninebarrow, Jackie Oates & Mike Cosgrove. More acts are to be announced.

Events are individually ticketed. Prices for currently available shows range from £16 up to £22.50.

Accommodation

Camping is not available but being in the centre of Manchester there are lots of nearby hotels, B&Bs and hostels.
