House of Fun Weekender curated by Madness will be held from Friday 21st until Monday 24th November 2014 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, in Somerset.

Line-up

The line-up will include two appearances by hosts Madness as The Return Of The Dangermen & The Invaders, plus The Cuban Brothers, Barry Peters, Dub Pistols, Reeps One, Giselle The Burlesque, DJ Woody, David Rodigan, Shy FX, Bitty McLean, Rootikal DJs, The Good Times Sound System with Norman Jay & Joey Jay, The Superskas, Maddy Carter & Rudy Ranx, Reggae Roast, Jah Shaka, Prince Fatty, The Lee Thompson Band, Mad Professor, Magic Brothers, The Talks, Jeramiah Ferrari, ChainSka Brassika, Smiley & The Underclass, The 2 Blouses, DJ Wheeliebag, Darren Bennett, Mr Happy, and Mis Presents & The Mad Chart Show.

As well as live acts, there's comedy, Shitfaced Shakespeare, Musical Bingo, Bring & Share Disco, Gospeloke, Last Man Standing, Silent Disco & Carry On Cinema Experience.

Tickets are priced from £169 per person (based on four people sharing).

Accommodation

Room Only accommodation offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. Self Catering accommodation offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. Tickets are selling fast, and Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 berth rooms, and Self Catering accommodation is also available in 4, 6, and 7 berths.

On site

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.

Getting There by Road

Heading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Camp is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre.

Getting There by Train

If travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033.
