A relaxed, family friendly atmosphere, offering concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, sessions, singing, storytelling, poetry, film and a large Celtic craft market.

Lowender Peran will celebrates Cornwall's distinctive heritage of traditional music, dance, songs, story telling and the county's links with Brittany, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland and Wales.

Taking place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th November 2017 at Newquay, in Cornwall, with the festival hub located at the Hotel Bristol.

Line-up

The Cornish acts announced include:- Perraners, Penzance Guizers, Bolingey Troyl Band and Dancers, Hevva, Tros an Treys, Tan ha Dowr, Droll Adro (Mike O’Connor), Falmouth Session Band, Irish Dance Cornwall, Kemysk, Grenaways, Silvia Lowe, The Hornets, Bagas Crowd, Camborne Town Band and Richard Trethewey, Didjan, The Devil’s Violin, Mabe Ladies Choir, Cornish Wrestlers, Oll an Gwella, Salt & Sky, MacQuarrie & Toms, Eve Goodman, The Stowes, The Rowan Tree, Towl Ros!/Cast Net!, Will Keating.

Expect around 300 Artists coming from all over, including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany and the Isle of Man and Cornwall.

Tickets

Weekend tickets are priced at £55 for adults or £27.50 for children. Tickets for workshops and shows are priced between £2.50 and £12.

Accommodation

The festival has no camping facilities, although there are accommodation options including nearby campsites available in the village.
