The dates for Lowender 2008 are confirmed as Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July, again at Colliford Lake Park on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.
The acts announced to play so far are:
FRIDAY - The Van Daniels, The Eyelids, The Sum Of, Ricks Rebels, The Sex Slaves From Hell.
SATURDAY - Gill, Ipony, Arthur Walker, The Noel Prior Band, Ammunition, The Sycamores, Kolo, Amy May, Chasing Faces, Hey Molly, and Andrew Bate.
SUNDAY - Johnny Cowling, Baqua, Ice Cold Idiots, The Dave Rich Band, The Hitchcock Rules, Vanity, and Mad Dog Mcrae.
Nicky Swann and Lady Sam will be appearing acoustically also at some time throughout the festival. Other entertainers include Tony King (compere), Sam Joseph- Westcountry TV (compere), Really Wild Encounter (as seen on the BBC), Johnny Cowling (Cornwalls No1 Funny Man), Aroma fairy (massage), She Phoenix and the Ember dancers(fire dancers & poi), Various other entertainers - stilt walkers, jugglers etc.
The site also has disabled access, shower blocks, adventure playgrounds
in woodland and moorland settings and other side attractions. The festival has a licence for 1000 people.
Tickets are on sale priced at £40 for adults and under 14s Tickets £10 including camping & parking. There will be day tickets and full weekend wristbands for sale on the gate. To buy tickets, click here.
