Now in its third year Loop returns as a two day event, at Victoria Gardens in central Brighton, in 2009. Bigger than ever the music and digital art festival is spread across specially created performance areas in the heart of Brighton.

The seaside city will this year host an extended 2 day festival showcasing a wealth of specially selected top bands and stellar DJs, alongside an abundance of cutting edge digital art and culture. Sunday will be a shorter programme with a more laid back feel and finishing at 7pm. Also, an expanded Loop Late, will again take over the city until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The line-up includes Squarepusher, The Field, Datarock, Joakim, Fujiya and Miyagi, Fanfarlo, Hatcham Social, Esser, Tunng, The Invisible, Casiokids, The XX, Emiliana Torrini, James Yuill, We Have Band, Thomas Truax, Solid Gold, The Juan Maclean, Riton, Sian Alice Group, Plugs, Samim, and The Glimmers. See here for the line-up details to-date.

The Loop Loud performance by the Matthew Herbert Big Band on Friday 10th July has been cancelled. Existing Loop Loud ticket holders are offered admission to both Saturday's full Loop Live and Loop Late programmes. Also, in light of some mixed weather forecasts, Loop Live performances will now take place in the historic Dome Concert Hall, Corn Exchange and Pavilion Theatre, which will also house our full programme of interactive installations and our visual programme and there will be no outdoor stage this year.

Tickets for Loop Live will now be exchanged for wristbands at the entrance to the Corn Exchange, which is located on Church Street. Tickets for the event can also be purchased at these venues and at the local outlets throughout the event.

Tickets are available separately for each day or as a variety of bundles, an all access tickets for Loop Live Sat/Sun + Loop Late is priced at £50.
A Loop Live only 2 day is priced at £40.
Saturday Loop Live tickets is priced at £26.50.
Sunday Loop Live ticket is priced at £16.50.
LoopLate ticket, on Saturday night, will be £11.50 - valid from 2200hrs-0400hrs (This ticket will allow access to all loop late venues subject to venue capacity)

After the site closes down in the day, the event will once again morph into LoopLate which has DJs and live performances at various venues across Brighton until the early hours.

Loop festival will probably once again be spread across four areas: the Hub and Futures tents in the main arena will play host to the most prominent acts, while Limits will provide an internal space for the more leftfield and experimental artists. Finally, artists known primarily for their electronic work will be displaying their mellower, even acoustic side in the intimate Loop Garden.

The programme will also include other aspects of digital culture, including animation, film, dance, theatre and installations, as well as VJ performances throughout the day.

Loop is keen to support new and local talent, submissions are invited. Email info@loopbrighton.com for details.

There are numerous accommodation options to stay in Brighton during this event.

More information will be here when available.
