The people's festival, Liverpool Loves is a three-day event that provides a platform to celebrate, participate and create everything people are so passionate about across Liverpool City Region. The festival has this year moved to the city centre, and will take place at Derby Square and Liverpool One simultaneously on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August 2017. The dual sites will both host a wide range of entertainment and activities.

Line-up

Acts announced so far are:- Delphina Kings, Sub Blue, Pixey, Edgar Jones, Natalie McCool, Red Rum Club, Camilla Sky, Mica Millar, Halem, The Shipbuilders, Stillia, The Boston Shakers, The Protagonists, LA Walkway, Raheem Alameen, Milo Tain, Cherri V, DJ Niceness, The Racket, Ovvls and Joshua Hall, with more to be announced.

Liverpool Loves

There will be lots of cultural activity, a music programme across three stages, a kids programme created for family audiences and loads of independent street food traders and local bars; as well as a series of activities created to show people how to lead happy and healthy lives and have fun while doing it.

This year’s Main Stage is tipped to be bigger and better than ever - welcoming a range of rising local favourites and headline talent.

Liverpool Loves will promote and celebrate all the things that Liverpool has to offer, in turn supporting new business with profits raised through the event. 

Free-to-attend and open to all, the highlight of the weekend will be a fun-packed family friendly event with something on offer for everyone. A diverse, home-grown music programme will be supported by cultural and pop-up performances providing a flavour of Liverpool’s local and international communities. In previous years, Street theatre, African drummers, Brazilian dancers, Arab and Asian arts have appeared alongside art installations and more.

As well as lots of activities and events for young people and families with children, there will also be over 30 local independent food and drink stalls and bars.

As part of the wellbeing programme; there will be reiki taster sessions, healthy eating businesses, children's yoga, Morning Gloryville and much more.

Liverpool Loves is the brainchild of Debbie Boyd, Director of Orb Events, who created Liverpool Pride 2010 and is co-creator of the Brazilica Festival.

Accommodation

The festival offers no accommodation at the event. There are plenty of accommodation options available in the city.
