The idea

The aim is to get a swell of public opinion behind attempts to limit climate change in the run-up to the Climate Meeting in Paris in December.

Pharrell Williams and Al Gore announced what they hope to be the largest global campaign in history, in the form of a second round of Live Earth concerts to promote awareness of climate change. The concerts will take place across all seven continents – including Antarctica. New York will also be hosting an event.
