LeeFest returns to celebrate 11 years at John Darlings Farm near Edenbridge in Kent from Thursday 10th until Saturday 12th August 2017.

This non-profit music festival started as a community of 150 young people in a back garden. The festival has now grown to 5,000 people in a field with the same vibe retained.

Although being centred around young people the festival is targeted at an audience of all ages and offers opportunities for unsigned artists to play alongside seasoned professionals.

Line-up

Confirmed so far are headliners Kate Tempest, Annie Mac, Jake Bugg, & Slaves, plus Wild Beasts, Jungle (DJ set), Wilkinson, Tom Greenan, Fickle Friends, Crazy P (live), Keston Cobblers Club, Mr Scruff, Bad Sounds, Moxie, The Bay Rays, Parcels, Zak Abel,  Yassassin, Oxide & Neutrino, and many more.

The Neverland theme

Doffing a feathered cap to Peter Pan LeeFest offers lost boys and girls the opportunity to take a journey into their never-ending party as the festival hosts three distinct realms within The Neverland provides an immersive adventure.

Mermaids Lagoon is for all those seeking the Club Tropicana high-life of cocktails, sunshine and 80s glam. Skull Ridge lies in The Neverland shadows - a living embodiment of shadowy fantasies and attractions expect a pounding, relentless soundtrack of bass, grunge and punk. The Neverwoods offers panoramic natural vistas and a place of tranquillity, nourishment and well-being in an ambient forest offering new music, arts and crafts in a no nonsense paradise celebrating good times and joy.

LeeFest exists on the belief that a festival should be about bringing a community of people together to celebrate the best musicians and artists of the moment and to construct an environment of unbounded creativity. A far cry from the profiteering of some larger festivals, LeeFest is entirely run by volunteers, ensuring that all its revenue is used to build the event and support local charities.

Activities on offer include burlesque, cabaret, campfire, casino, cinema, circus, cocktail bars, comedy, craft markets, craft workshops, dance classes, drag queens, food fights, games & sports, glitter wrestling, hidden venues, hot tubs, installations, kids area, local ales, magic, massage, paint fights, spoken word, street food, talks & debates, theatre, therapies, wide games, and yoga.

Facilities

All the essentials for a good day are available on site. These include toilets, reasonably priced food and drink, cash machines and first aid.

LeeFest offers more than just music; in order to ensure that everybody has the most amazing weekend they offer all manner of exciting things to eat, drink, see and do as well as hear.
