At the press day of this year's Leeds festival eFestivals got a chance to have a Q&A session with The G.a.n.g (Growth and not Glory) a band who appear on the BBC Introducing Stage at both Reading and Leeds this year.

The G.a.n.g (Growth and not Glory)
So, we know you've played festivals before, how do you go down in that environment?
Yeah, pretty good! You tend to feel the music more. We love the crowds, we love performing late and you get that at festivals.

And who will you be checking out at Leeds?
Guns ‘n’ Roses, Dizzee Rascal, Blink-182 and a bit of Marina, she's pretty hot!

I heard you've just been playlisted on Radio One, how does that feel?
Yeah, it's really exciting! We'll definitely be listening out for that.

So what's next for The Gang?
We have a single coming out, the one that's been playlisted. So we'll be working on that, trying to get that out.

Will you be looking to tour any time in the near future?
Not yet, we're looking forward to that but right now we're doing things independently so really you get what you get and you have to take it.

Leeds Festival takes place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th August at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, with the sister event, Reading Festival, taking place the same weekend at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire.
