The 2nd The Lechlade Festival takes place on the banks of the Thames at Riverside Park, Lechlade, in Gloucestershire on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May 2012.

This family music festival features 50+ bands on 2 stages, funfair, real ales, stalls, workshops and onsite camping. Children 12 and under go free.

Line-up

The festival promotes talent from around the South West region. Headline acts to be announced. Bands include SkyBurnsRed, Nudybronque, Slagerij, Bataleurs, Peerless Pirates, Echolounge. Everything from rock to reggae, ska to swing, jazz, blues, punk, folk, latin, comedy, burlesque, and more still to be announced.

Tickets

Early bird prices are available up to May 13th. A weekend ticket with camping ticket is priced at £22.50; a weekend only ticket is priced at £15 (concession £12). An adult day ticket is priced at £10 (concession £7), all children aged 12 years and under can attend free. To buy tickets, click here.

Lechlade is situated on the Thames approximately 13 miles east of Cirencester, 12 miles north of Swindon and 25 miles west of Oxford.

The festival includes a beer festival offering a range of ales, with guest beers from other local breweries sitting alongside the Halfpenny Brewery's own CAMRA award winning ales and the new ales introduced by the Old Forge.

There's plenty of family fun available with activities for kids including Bungee Trampolines, Inflatable Circus Slide, Helter Skelter, Mini Roundabout Ride, Fairground Games, traditional candy floss, and more.
