A festival of largely acoustic folk and world music, but also roots, blues, jazz, Americana, reggae and more. It has a lovely chilled atmosphere, and is child-friendly, all set on a gorgeous site in lovely Victorian pleasure gardens with a free campsite next door, with free showers and well serviced toilets.

There's numerous workshops for adults and children, therapy sessions and street theatre are also on offer.

Wednesday has Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, and Thurday Afro Celt Sound System, and Kate Rusby. Dreadzone and Babyhead play on Friday, and Saturday has Shooglenifty, Jazz Jamaica Motorcity Roots, Warsaw Village Band and more. The Be Good Tanyas round things off on the Sunday. For the full line-up details as available, see here.

Tickets are on sale, but all Child and Youth Saturday, 3-day and 4-day tickets sold out already. There are still Child and Youth day tickets available for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, but customers need to act quickly to avoid disappointment. All weekend tickets are expected to sell out by the end of April. The ticket price includes camping for the night(s) of the date(s) of a ticket.

The Festival grounds will open at 3pm on Wednesday 12th and 9am on Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th July. Please note: Box Office closes at 11pm each evening, therefore no new arrivals will be admitted after this time.

The festival of course includes food from around the world, as well as 3 well-stocked bars carrying a full range of drinks, with a wide selection of real ales from Hall and Woodhouse. PLEASE NOTE that you cannot take your own alcohol into the Festival grounds, and that no food, drink, or tables and chairs, may be brought into the Festival grounds on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th July.

No cars are allowed on the campsite; separate parking space is provided but the organisers hope to be able to meet the needs of disabled people so contact them if you have any queries. There is a separate area within the campsite for caravans and campervans. There are toilets, running water, free hot showers, a shop and a cafe. Open fires and candle flares are strictly forbidden for safety reasons. You may use gas or charcoal burning BBQs - BUT NOT DISPOSABLE BBQs. No pets.

There'll be more information here when available.
