Folklore from the team behind Jersey Live returns after a three-year hiatus on Sunday 14th June 2015 to a new home the natural amphitheatre of Val De La Mare against the backdrop of the idyllic St Ouen’s Bay. Subject to the organisers gaining the Bailiffs permission.

Line-up

James will headline. Also confirmed are Nerina Pallot, Reef, Gentleman's Dub Club, Dreadzone, Lloyd Yates, The Doors Alive, Tadhg Daly, Kevin Pallot, The Little Big Band, Benny & The Moth, Killig & Fernweh, The Recks, Buffalo Huddlestone, and Pirate Party Brigade.

In addition to the Main Stage, the Agapanthus Stage will offer an array of comedians, musicians and spoken word acts. A new third area has been added, the Islands Stage, showcasing the best live acts from Jersey and its neighbouring islands.

Latest additions are John Shuttleworth, Jake Isaac, Pete Heat, Esther Rose Parkes, Judy Mantle, Sharon Champion, Juliette Hart, Linda Rose Parkes , Nicky Mesch, and Samuel Walwyn.

Also on site will be Kids Capoeira Classes Jersey C.I., Inner Space Jersey, and Stormtrooper Jersey.

The Family Zone for kids and parents will be home to plenty of workshops and activities. Jersey’s Love Theatre will be bringing their interactive Pirate Show with performances throughout the day that kids can get involved in.

There will also be Bollywood Dance workshops from Dove Step Bollywood, Aerialantics, Yoga & Meditation Workshops, a Storytelling Corner and Library, and Arts & Crafts Workshops in the Creative Zone.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £46 for adults (13 years and above) and £7.50 for children.

Accommodation

Folklore is a non-camping event. However there are a wide variety of accommodation options including hotels, guesthouses, caravan and campsites, as well as some more unusual accommodation options including Durrell Wildlife Park’s hostels and Jersey Heritage sites such as fully- furnished forts and castles.
