Based on a festival first held in 1973, Hurricane Festival started in 1997 and is an annual event for around 75,000 held at Scheeßel between Hamburg, Hanover and Bremen in Germany. The big annual festival that takes place in the very north of Germany. The twin festival of Southside Festival held on the same three days in the very south of Germany they usually have the same line-up with only few exceptions.
