From the organisers of HowTheLightGetsIn comes Crunch: the art and music festival at Hay which takes place from 5pm on Friday 19th November 2010 until 7pm on Sunday 21st November 2010 on the edge of the Black Mountains at The Globe at Hay, Newport Street, Hay-on-Wye.

Line-up

The music programme includes Laura Marling, Clean Bandit, Mr. Fogg, Lulu and The Lampshades, Kate Tempest, Man Like Me and Crack Magazine DJs.

Other guests include Bianca Jagger, Marc Quinn, Brian Eno, Paul Morley, author Sarah Thornton, Serpentine Director Julia Peyton-Jones, BBC Arts Editor Will Gompertz, Turner prize winning artist Martin Creed, ICA Director Ekow Eshun, artist Marc Quinn and human-rights campaigner Bianca Jagger.

Tickets

Individual event tickets available from £3. Early bird tickets are priced at £48 (full price £85). The Festival Pass gives access to all events at Crunch 2010, including art debates and lectures with leading artists, writers and critics, pyrotechnic shows and intimate gigs with some of the UK's emerging talent and DJs. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival will also be welcoming The Tate's Great British Art Debate Tent with a mix of solo talks, conversations, music, and entertainment. All served up with winter-warming mulled cider, hog roasts and nightly displays of pyrotechnic wizardry outside in the globefield.

The festival's home includes the newly extended globe field. Although the festival site and the programme of events are growing, organisers will keep the informal atmosphere and the intimate feel that has made the festival such a special event.

Venues

In The Globe At Hay will be big debates during the day and live music and parties in the evening. In the globe field there will be the Tate Great British Art Debate Tent with a cabaret mix of solo talks, music, interview, and desert island art and outside pyrotechnic excitement with globe on fire events. And just adjacent to the globe field is a new space, the Crunch Art Fair, a first for this year.

Accommodation

This festival does not offer camping. A limited number of Festival Live tickets with accommodation are available with a choice of single or double tickets. There also accommodation options in Hay, as well as a Bedfinder service offered by the festival, for a small booking fee. Call Laura on 0207 837 3000.
