The resort

Arinsal is in the Vallnord ski area and has an altitude of 2560m ensuring snowy peaks throughout the season. From gentle, open pistes for complete rookies, to huge powder bowls and tree-lined runs for experts, the area offers skiing and boarding landscapes for all levels. It has 40,000 square metres of freestyle terrain, with a half-pipe, rails, kickers, boxes and a designated chill-out space.

For complete novices or for those wanting some top tips to improve their snow skills, Vallnord offers an excellent ski and snowboard school, with English speaking instructors.

Connected by cable car to the neighbouring resort of Pal, the area is collectively known as Vallnord and is famed for its slopes, nightlife, and cheap prices.

Activities

This festival is about so much more than just the music. Creating an immersive experience, the Horizon Festival team are expected to return with Hot Spa Cinema, Geothermal Pool Rave, Music Production Lab and The Hotel House Party.

Away from the music, snow lovers can enjoy 70km of relatively quiet slopes on snow sure mountains. Whether skiing or snowboarding, Bansko and Horizon Festival has it all for you, all within a very reasonable budget. Bansko is the perfect playground for beginners and intermediates with excellent tree runs and off-piste for the more adventurous. Added activities for ticket holders include the Annual Snow Games and the Mountain Paintball Wars – House vs Techno vs Garage vs Bass.
