The rock and metal event Hellfire Festival II takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, West Midlands on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2009. It was originally a three day event, but Friday is no longer happening.
Line-up
The line-up includes headliners Fields of the Nephilim, and Saxon, plus My Dying Bride, Anvil, Tesseract, Benediction, Senser, Viking Skull, No Made Sense, Trigger The Bloodshed, Evile, Sylosis, Xerath, The Plight, Blakfish, Cinders Fall, Malefice, Rise To Remain, Spit Like This, Sacred Mother Tongue, October File, and more. Blaze Bayley has stepped in to replace Evile. Mistress of ceremonies will be Miss Katie P.For the full line-up details click here.
Music Live
Music Live will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2009 and have teamed up with Hellfire. Music Live annually showcases guitar, amplification, drum and music production brands from Fender and Gibson to Roland and Yamaha. Seminar content regularly covers topics as diverse as making a career in the music industry and recording the perfect demo.The festival will have the Music Live equipment exhibition and Live Stage during the day, with Hellfire taking over the live area each evening. A total of four stages will play host to around 100 live performances throughout the weekend; joint tickets for both events will be available at discounted rates.
