This community festival offers a wide range of events over the weekend, many aimed at rediscovering Reiver ancestry through drama, music, re-enactments, crafts, walks, horses and arts.

For 2009, the two main concerts will be:-
Friday 27th March 2009
Scocha In Concert
Hawick Town Hall - 8pm Doors open 7.15pm
Hosted by Hawick Callants Club
Main Hall Cabaret Style seating £11. Bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks

Saturday 28th March 2009
Catriona Macdonald and Flash Company in Concert
Venue: Hawick Rugby Club 8.30pm Doors open 8.00pm
Tickets £10 (Concessions £8 available to those in full-time education)

The programme usually includes concerts, an Opening Procession on Saturday, starting along Hawick High Street at 10.30am, led by costumed riders on horseback. There's also an all-day 16th Century Market and Reivers Encampment.

Also on Saturday, Drumlanrig Tower will be open with activities and displays and in previous years dramamtic performances have been held in St. Mary's Church at 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm - all free. There will also be free Children's Art Workshops for 5 - 12 year olds from 11am to 12.30pm & from 2pm to 4pm.

Traditional Music Workshops take place all day at various venues and include fiddle, guitar and whistle/flute to suit all(some experience is necessary).

Other events on Saturday are likely to include a guided walk, a torchlight procession – The Hot Trod starting at 6.45pm, and a firework display and bonfire at Volunteer Park Sports Ground. Torches will be on sale to those aged 16 and over (at your own risk).

In the evening Catriona Macdonald and Flash Company will be in concert at Hawick Rugby Club at 8.30pm.

Sunday is usually slightly more sedate and will include a Walk of the Hawick Common Land incorporating the traditional route taken by Hawick Cornet and his supporters when riding the Common on Common Riding morning).
