Bringing heavy metal to Wales for an enjoyable weekend. The atmosphere remains upbeat throughout the festival, and despite the frightening amount of alcohol being consumed in all corners, there is rarely if ever any trouble from to be found. This is a festival which really does exist for the music.

Hammerfest the festival for metal fans run by the people put on Hard Rock Hell and Metal Hammer returns for its fifth year to a new site with better units, bigger venues, more eateries and generally wider facilities on site. Hammerfest V - In Fear of The Dragon will take place from early arrival party Thurday 14th to Saturday 16th March 2013 and moves to the new larger Haven, the Hafan y Mor Holiday Park at Pwllheli, Gwynedd, in North Wales.

Line-up

With a 12th century Japanese Samurai culture as the back drop, the line-up includes Killing Joke, Saint Vitus, Hatebreed, Candlemass, Sodom, Destruction, Napalm Death, Enslaved, Huntress, Senser, Iron Saviour, Heidevolk, Sister Sin, Evil Scarecrow, M-Pire of Evil, Def Con One, Texas Hippie Coalition, Shear, Angel Witch, Viza, Hark, Chimp Spanner, Abadden, Winterfylleth, Empress, Commander in Chief, 4Arm, Stuka Squadron, RSJ, Triaxis, Sacred Mother Tongue, and more. In total there will be three stages and over 50 bands.

Tickets

Weekend tickets, for anyone 16+ years old, are available and include two night's accommodation in holiday apartments. Tickets are available priced from £125 per head, based on a group of six people sharing a silver chalet.

Tickets include two nights' accommodation and entrance to all 6 arenas as well as free car parking. Only VIP tickets include accommodation for the additional Thursday night, alternatively Thursday night add ons can be purchased for an additional £30.

Apartments

The apartment structure at Prestatyn offers a limited number of apartments for 2's and 3's. The main bulk of apartments sleep 4, 5, 6 and 7. The more people in an apartment, the cheaper the price of the ticket. Entrance into all arenas is included, check-out 12 midday on Sunday. Onsite car parking included as well as private bathroom, fitted kitchen, lounge, TV, bed linen (bathroom towels NOT provided), and free electricity.
