Guilfest 2004 reverts back to the third weekend of July after being held on the first weekend of July in 2003 (this is a correction to the date that was originally announced for 2004 after the 2003 festival).

This is a lovely festival, with a superb friendly and laid-back vibe.

The headliners are Blondie (Friday), Simple Minds (Saturday) and UB40 (Sunday). Click here for the full music line-up.

As well as the BBC Radio 2 Stage, there's the Uncut Magazine Aladdin’s Cave Stage, the Tropical Tent, and Andertons LiveClub Stage (which features new and unsigned bands).

eFestivals is again sponsoring the Cosmic Comedy Tent, which gives a lovely alternative to the music and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The comedy starts at 2pm on Friday.

The KidZone ensures the little ones are kept entertained, with the opportunity for them to try various circus skills, as well as other activities. There's a Sunday procession around the site.

Festival gates open: Noon on Friday 16 July, and late morning (i.e. before Noon) on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July.

Music stages active: 5pm to 11pm on Friday, Noon to 11pm on Saturday and Noon to 9pm on Sunday.

Campsite: accessible to “Weekend with Camping” ticket holders from 10am on Friday 16 July; to be cleared during the morning of Monday 19 July. Camper Van site: as campsite, although a Camper Van ticket is also required along with every person using the camper van having their own “Weekend with Camping” ticket.
