Bad Manners
29th July 2000

Bad Manners

The first band I saw today was Bad Manners who gave a exuberant performance on this sunny day.

Bad Manners

Busters interests include drinking, football and ska which he seems to be able to combine successfully. There were some football fans in the crowd who had the idea of chanting 'you fat bastard' at regular intervals but Buster either didn't hear, didn't care or had just heard it all before - he wears his enormous gut with pride and is still able to bounce around the stage although dancing the can-can while singing it was beyond him.

Bad Manners

His other memorable feature is his huge tongue which got huge cheers when it appeared. The happy ska sound fitted well with the sunshine vibe and people where dancing even at the back of the field.

Bad Manners

He dedicated Special Brew to all the alcoholics and in the encore sang a medley of songs dedicated to the England team of 2002 and finally Lip Up Fatty. He looked like he had thoroughly enjoyed himself and so had we.
