An all-age inclusive friendly arts festival with its roots in the Christian faith which offers a host of world music, international and home-grown acts from big names to new artists. The dates for 2010 will be the bank holiday weekend from Friday 27th to Monday 30th August 2010.

Childrens Choir
Greenbelt is a place to learn, to experience, to be. As well as music the festival hosts a selection of varied talks, workshop and debates; exploring contemporary issues, faith, social justice, politics ­and more. Greenbelt 10's theme has not yet been announced.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Gil Scott Heron, Shed Seven, Courtney Pine, Beverley Knight, Lou Rhodes, The Dodge Brothers, The King Blues, Jars of Clay, Ugly Duckling, Michael McDermott, Silent Disco, Thomas Truax, Belleville, Benjamin Stead Trio, Blake, De'Borah, Ellie Williams, Erin Matthews, Extra Curricular, Hannah and the Boy, Harry Bird & the Rubber Wellies, Jon Gomm, judyshouse, Justin Grounds, Loz Bridge, Luke Leighfield, Sleepy Vole, Stagger Rats, Stephen Langstaff, The Cut Ups, The Floe, The Momeraths, The Standards, and Vandeville Falls.

Speakers include John Bell, Peter Tatchell, Lucy Winkett, Clare Short MP, Stanley Hauerwas, Oliver James, Richard Rohr, Stanley Hauerwas, David Morrissey, Mark Yaconelli, Roger McGough, Robin Ince, Milton Jones, Francis Spufford, Zic Zazou, and many more.

Programmes

Greenbelt also has a visual and performing arts programme, as well as exploring a variety of alternative worship styles, and runs a daily Children's Festival, plus literature, classical, film, and youth programmes.

Tickets

There were early bird tickets on sale. Ticket prices are as follows Adult - £99; Concessions £66; Youth (11-17) £55; Kids (4-10) £50; family ticket (2 kids/2 adults) £259. Infants aged 0-3 years can attend for free but still need a ticket.
