The Great Escape is an international live music event; a festival of export-ready artists from across the globe performing at 14 walk-able venues within Brighton City Centre.
Some of the acts appearing over the three days include 65 Days Of Static, Bell X1, Brakes, British Sea Power, Clearlake, Eighteenth Day of May, Electric Soft Parade, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Kubb, Martha Wainwright, Mohair, Seal Cub Clubbing Club, Still Remains, The Academy Is, The Cribs, The Feeling, The Sunshine Underground, The Upper Room, The Young Knives, This Et Al, You Say Party! As well as the music, there's also a number of Parkinson style interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved. Speakers include:- Andy Rourke, Ken Scott, Mani, Michael Eavis, Peter Hook, and Rob da Bank.
Tickets are sold out. They were priced at £35 for the three days.
