The dates for 2009 are confirmed as Thursday 14th until Saturday 16th May 2009.
The Great Escape is an international live music event; a festival of around 200 acts from across the globe performing at about 25 venues within Brighton City Centre.
The line-up has not yet been announced.
The Great Escape Festival utilising the spaces that Brighton has to offer. The main activity will be focused around the "Level" and the seafront, with some larger venues helping to reduce any queuing. The venues will all be a close walk from each other with each venue equipped to an international showcase standard.
As well as the live music, there's also a number of "Parkinson" style interviews with luminaries from the world of Music and Media, to show the way in which success is achieved.
