last updated : Tue 29th May 07 This festival is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, just north of Skipton, and offers a wide variety of events - from jazz, folk, gospel and classical music performances to 'celebrity evenings' and exhibitions, workshops, theatre and puppetry taking place during the last fortnight in June. Most performances take place in a Festival Marquee with fantastic views across the Dale providing an uplifting end to the festival fortnight. Other gigs take place at local pubs and churches and there is music and street theatre in the Town Square. The 2007 programme has now been announced, representing a wide variety of music genres including The Real Thing, Hayley Westenra with Libera (SOLD OUT), The Saw Doctors, Julian Lloyd Webber (cello) and Wu Qian (piano recital).
