last updated : Tue 10th Jan 06 Claiming to be England's biggest indoor folk and celtic music festival with over 300 performers from all over the world, it includes concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, dance displays, singarounds, sessions, craft fayre, a Festival Club, Late-Night Extra and more. Concerts take place both during the afternoon and evening: from 1pm until 5pm or from 7.30pm in the evening. The main venues have a good selection of food and drink available all weekend, including real ale. There's free parking for caravans at the Ashcroft Arts Centre, free car parking at most venues all weekend and campsites (for tents) nearby.
