Glastonbury 2005 ticket information

Monday 4th April 2005

TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT
Anyone offering tickets for sale will not sell you a valid ticket due to the ID requirements: your money will be wasted.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday 3rd April, 2005.

Tickets cost £125.00 plus £4.00 booking fee (per ticket) and £4.00 postage and packing (per order). Day tickets are not available (apart to local residents for the Sunday - see local press for details).

How to buy?

Tickets will be available online ONLY from http://www.aloud.com. It's expected that the majority of tickets will be sold online.

Tickets will be available by telephone ONLY on 0870 165 2005 for UK residents. Be aware that you will be charged at national rate for your call while in the telephone queuing system.

Ticket sales for those permanently living abroad can only be bought online, or by telephoning + 44 1159 934 163, and using a credit card. No UK sales will be accepted using this process. Tickets for overseas won't be posted, but will be available for collection from an office near the Festival site between the morning of Wednesday 22nd June and the morning of Sunday 26th June 2005. Details of the collection arrangements and the checks that will be carried out will be sent to overseas ticket purchasers.

Payment for tickets will be accepted ONLY from the following DEBIT cards: Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro Domestic and Solo. Credit cards will not be accepted for UK sales. If there are insufficient funds for the sale, it will be voided and the tickets will be reallocated - any transaction that results in a charge back or payment dispute will be cancelled. When purchasing online, you will be sent a confirmation email by See Tickets with a reference number – write it down and keep it, it is confirmation of your purchase.

Postal orders and cheques raised by either a building society or a bank (as a Bankers Draft) will also be accepted as payment on the telephone ticket line. Please note personal cheques cannot be accepted. When you confirm your order you will be given a reference number. Cheques or postal orders, together with that reference number, must be received by the ticket agency within five working days of the sale.

Car Parking and campervan/caravan tickets will be available to purchase in the same transaction as festival tickets. Car Park tickets cost £5, and Campervan tickets cost £45 (both per vehicle), and MUST be purchased in advance of the Festival. You can buy these tickets at a later date (once your festival ticket sales have been confirmed) by telephoning 0870 165 2005. You will be required to give the operator the reference number confirming your festival tickets.

Accompanied children 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket. If the child looks older than 12, please bring ID, otherwise the child may not be admitted.

Buying the tickets...

Tickets sales will be restricted to two per person and per telephone call. Each transaction will be thoroughly checked, and duplicate transactions will be declined - if not at the time of sale, at a later stage.

In addition to the two tickets an adult can purchase, they will also be able to buy upto two "Child tickets". These tickets are for children aged 13, 14 and 15, who must be accompanied at the entry gate by that adult. "Child tickets" are the same price as adult tickets. "Child tickets" can be bought by the responsible adult accompanying the child (who may have a different surname from that adult), so a parent can buy child tickets for one of their offspring and a friend.

The name and full address of each Festival attendee must be given at time of booking. (i.e. the ticket holders’ addresses and not that of the card holder buying the tickets, if they are different.) Attendees names cannot be changed once ticket sales are confirmed, so please be sure all details are accurate when booking tickets. If you change your address between completing the sale and May 13th, please telephone 0870 120 0332. You will not be able to change the name on the ticket.

Ticket delivery?

Tickets will be despatched by the ticket agency over a two week period from 1st June, and they will need signing for on delivery. If you are not at home, a card will be left giving you instructions on how to arrange for re-delivery, either to your home address on another date or an alternative address where you will need to provide ID on delivery.

ID for Festival entrance?

All tickets will be personalised and checks will be made at the gates comparing the information printed on the ticket with approved ID. If the ID does not match the information on the ticket you will be refused access to the Festival. Every ticket holder will be required to present their personalised ticket, along with one of the following forms of ID: a new photo style driving licence, or a government approved photo ID bearing the PASS hologram, such as the Citizen card. You can apply for a free CitizenCard on-line, or by calling 0870 240 1221. Children aged 12 and under, and "Child" ticketholders, will not need entry ID if accompanied by the adult ticket holder.

I have a ticket, but now can't go...?

Ticket orders can be cancelled and ticket price refunded until May 13th. Telephone 0870 120 0332 to cancel your ticket (+44 1159 934 419 if overseas). Tickets may not be transferred to another name. There is no facility to deal with cancelled orders after 13th May, nor to return tickets.

It is not expected to have a further issue of tickets once the tickets have sold out when on sale on 3rd April.
