the original Glastonbury Festival website

The dates of the 2004 Festival are confirmed as 25-27th June, with the gates to open at 10am on Wednesday 23rd June (an hour later than previous years). A Public Entertainments Licence application has been granted, and all tickets sold.

Getting there on the Wednesday is becoming more popular with each passing year - it allows you to get your bearings (the site is huge) and soak up the vibe, ready for it all to kick off bigtime on Friday morning.

What's On?
Expect something like 2,000 performances at 25 or so venues, including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, poetry, green crafts and information and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!
