The Festival's newest field, the essence of the free-spiritedness that Glastonbury has fostered for so many years now has been distilled into the incredible sub-culture exuberance of Lost Vagueness.

It's a mix of the glamour of Vegas meets a Gypsy Wedding meets a mash up of festival nuttyness. Built up over 15 years from pallets to a palace set in 19 acres, it represents the most organic cultural growth - the once subversive festival gatecrashers have now been given full creative control of their own uniquely weird part of the Festival and subsequently surpassed the wildest imaginable creations - the ultimate Glastonbury-inspired creative freakout! A gathering-point and melting pot for those like-minded individuals who feel strongly connected to the Festival - much of the work is carried out on a voluntary basis, with many people giving their free time to create this utterly brilliant yet chaotic vision.

2003 is also exceptional in that the Arts Council of England has shown clear vision and helped fund Lost Vagueness for a small tour of the UK.

VIVA LOST VAGUENESS

In 2003 the field willl include: a Ballroom, a Casino, a Church , a Mosque, a big Outdoor Stage, a Trailer Park, a mutated robots area, a fully animated Freakshow, Joe Strummers Corner, a xxx caberet, a full can can troupe, Ballroom Dancing lessons, a full tailored suit hire, and more.
