Having been to
the last 4 festivals with wife, kids and kids pals, i must say that 2000 was
the worst of the lot - even the 2 mud-fests were better.
The line-up seems
to have lost it's edge over the last couple of years - The Corrs, Macy Gray,
Pet Shop Boys - i mean!
Moreover:
Even a blind
man can see what happens around the entry gates with the ' i'll get you in
for a tenner ' offers, so why don't security move in - I think we all know
why! The whole situation around these gates, especially at night, leads to
a general feeling of insecurity.
Pennyless
twats sitting on a crate of stella, selling cans at £2 a go would seem
to suggest that the same twat and his mates have pinched the loot from some
poor soul's tent or car. Again, no action seems to be taken.
This year,
the whole site was far too crowded. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and
the camper van field E14 was already packed - by Friday it was way over the
top.
Surely the
food sellers should be made to clear their frontages regularly - we expect
to have to move the odd paper plate and discarded burger, but we shouldn't
have to prop ourselves on about 20 layers of the foul-smelling stuff.
I could go on,
but i've got to earn some money for 2001.
We offer a fantastic range of Ladies Funky Designer Wellington Boots to keep your feet nice and dry at the festivals.
We offer a next day delivery service and you will not find these wellies cheaper anywhere else.
