First Glastonbury. Enjoyed it totally. Went on the train so avoided the traffic on the Monday.
The site was huge, much bigger than I expected and it seemed like I went hardly anywhere.
Musically, my highlights were Super Furry Animals on the Saturday, and Chicks and Jurassic 5 on the Sunday. Other memorable bits was the ship going through the crowd during Orbital and getting to see Ash on my second attempt (previous attempt in Hereford had been blocked by the floods last year).

Worst part of the festival was pitching my tent in the family field on the Thursday and choosing a spot on the very outside of the site right up against the fence. So i had the hundreds of scum who were jumping in head straight for my tent (it was the yellow one for anyone who went past it, though those coming in at night wouldn't have seen that). There was a hole in the fence 20m further up, but they all had to throw there bags at the small space next to my tent and get in there. To the bloke who broke his ankle/leg coming over the wooden fence because he was carrying his oh so important beer on his back and then with the aid of his friend managed to make it to the wire fence and then take his shoe off in front of me as I was eating some soup, I hope it went septic. I have no sympathy at all with any of those who got in without paying.

Anyway, I'll be back next year, just not so close to the fence.
