Glass Butter Beach has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:
"It is with huge disappointment that the Glass Butter Beach festival is cancelled. On the eve of the big build, following horrendous weather reports for the festival run-in and for the festival itself, organisers have had to make the tough decision to pull the event on Health & Safety grounds."

Glass Butter Beach the multi action sports, music and beach culture festival for 5,000 people returns for a second year, taking place on Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September in Llanbedrog, North Wales.

The event offers live music, Surf, Wake, Skate & BMX, DJs and comedy. The festival will focus on 4 core sports at a professional level; Surf, Wake, Skate & BMX. There are also amateur events in surf & wake too for those who want to get involved.

Line-up

The music line-up across 3 stages will include Chicane, Grandmaster Flash, Stooshe, Rudimental, Sway, Goldfish, Jodie Marie, Charlotte O'Connor, Goldierocks, Jen Long, Brett Mcglaughlan, George Barnett, The Kill Van Kulls, Elle Watson, Niko & Lyall, The Kickbacks, Catfish And The Bottlemen, New Carnival, Darren Proctor, Neil Navarra, Future Funk, John Scudermore & Jackie Baxter, Andy Carr, Tim Lyall, Kopout, Joel Erith, Crash Disco, Queen Beats Jack, Lionels Properganda, Meek..Oh, Jonny 5, A Thousand Years, DJ Noisemaker, and Western and Lord Nige.

Tickets

A weekend adult (aged 16+) ticket with camping is priced at £70, or £50 without camping. Junior tickets (aged 11 – 15 on 31/08/12) are priced at £45 or £35 without camping. Children aged 10 years and under (on 31/08/12) can enter for Free. All juniors and children must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.

A family weekend ticket (2 adults and 2 juniors) with camping is priced at £200 or £130 without camping. Adult days tickets are priced at £27.50, and junior day tickets are priced at £17.50. A family (2 adults and 2 juniors) day ticket is priced at £75. A campervan pass is priced at £40 (Must be bought with a weekend camping ticket), and parking is £3 – Pay on the gate (all money goes to RNLI, the official event charity). there is an additional cost for 'have a go' tickets.

Interactive sports

Those attending GBB will also get the opportunity to join in! GBB is offering instruction and hire for surfing, wakeboarding, skateboarding, BMX, stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing, wakesurfing and beach volleyball.

Campsite

There's also a chance to camp right next to the beach including a movie night, exclusive viewing of skate & BMX practice sessions & a perfect viewing potential of sunrise across Cardigan Bay with acoustic sets to make it memorable.
