Glasgowbury is a long running music festival held outside Draperstown in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains. The 2013 festival will link with Derry as the City of Culture in 2013 to include a County Derry showcase on Friday 19th July before staging the best of the rest on Saturday 20th July 2013.

Line-up

More than 60 acts across five stages. Tickets

Early bird tickets are priced at £45 and include two days of entertainment while a festival only ticket at £35 permits entry to the event on Saturday as normal. To buy tickets, click here.

The final ever Glasgowbury

This year's festival will be the last as Glasgowbury announce a new direction for the organisation.

Camping

No glass bottles / no camp fires / no barbecue stoves are allowed in the camping area.

Campervans

Camper vans will be allowed to park at the An Rath Dubh Centre, approximately one mile from the site, and are charged around £5, and places are limited.

On site

There are lots of activities and workshops, parades, reflexology and indian head massage therapies, plenty of traders and stalls, a full selection of food stalls will feature at the festival including chip vans, crepe making stalls, a Thai noodle bar, Indian cuisine plus tea, coffee and snacks etc. Alcohol is allowed in the camp site but not in the festival site, where bars provide alcohol and soft drinks.

Glasgowbury were accepting submissions from acts interested in playing. To express interest send an email to submissions@glasgowbury.com using 'Glasgowbury 2013' as the subject title. Provide a link to your most recent recorded music, and include at least one main contact number for the act (two if possible). Submissions were open until the end of January 2013.
