The second Forbidden Fruit takes place in the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, in the city of Dublin, Ireland, and takes place over June Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 2nd until Monday 4th June 2012.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Horse Meat Disco, Little Green Cars, The Shit Robot Show, Stay+, Trinity Orchestra Performing Dark Side Of The Moon, and Com Truise.

They join New Order, Wilco, James Vincent Mcmorrow, Leftfield, Death Cab For Cutie, Booka Shade, The Rapture, Beirut, Death In Vegas, The Bloody Beetroots, Mazzy Star, Atlas Sound, Modeselektor, The Field, Factory Floor, Bear In Heaven, Le Galaxie, Austra, Grimes, R.S.A.G., Kool Thing, Andrew Bird, Field Music, Julia Holter, Friendly Fires, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Mmoths, Peaking Lights, The Cast Of Cheers, Lower Dens, The Magician, Daithí, Windings, Holy F***, Chairlift, Republic Of Loose, Purity Ring, Actress, Cloud Nothings, Reid, We Cut Corners, Autumn Owls, To Kill A King, and White Collar Boy. Expect entertainment across five stages, including a newly added Comedy Tent.

Comedy

Saturday's line is MC Danny Dowling, plus Colm McDonnell, Michael Downey, Carol Tobin, Tom O Mahony, Willa White, Aidan Bishop, John Colleary, Patrick McDonnell, and Late Night Gimp Fight. On Saturday it's the turn of Gerry Mallon to MC with Brendan Burke, Tomie James, James Goldsbury, Damon Blake, Paddy Cullivan, Kevin Gildea, Bernard O Shea, Joe Rooney, and Ardal O Hanlon. On Sunday Steve Cummins takes over MC duties with Eleanor Tiernan, Gerry McBride, Tommy Nicolson, Trevor Browne, Sue Collins, Jarlath Regan, Foil Arms And Hog, and Dead Cat Bounce.

Tickets

The multi-stage music and arts festival takes place in Dublin city centre, Forbidden Fruit sees Bulmers partnering with festival organisers POD. The festival combines music, art, fashion and simple good vibes. The event will also offer food markets, fashion stalls and more. Gates: 2pm-10.45pm daily.

This event does not have camping or car parking at the venue, but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
