The seventh annual Free Folkfest in Burnham-on-Sea will take place from Thursday 30th August until Sunday 2nd September 2012.
This is an acoustic folk festival, with free activities in pubs around the town centre with over 90 acts, dancers, workshops, exhibitions, market, refreshments, kids' entertainment at various venues throughout Burnham-on-Sea. All free.
Line-up
The first acts confirmed are Three Sheets T'Wind, Pyrates!, A Murder Of Rooks, Dan Walsh, Christi Andropolis, Stockport Morris, The Drystones, MOD, Mitchell & Vincent, Rosie Eade, Mississippi MacDonald, Cruel Folk, Nutty Noah, Hedgepig, The AlchemistÂ’s Wardrobe, Cherry Pickers, Leah Goldie, Devonbird, Mireille Mathlener, Elliot Hall, Ely Plains, Damian Clarke, Darren Hodge, Richard Craine, Small Town Music Club, The Winkers, Chalice Morris, Mudlarks Community Choir, Princess Youth Theatre, Steve Brown, Kyotie, Spirolyte, Sundog Daze, Bruce Hudson, BrightÂ’n'High.Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Burnham-on-Sea.Workshops
