The 19th annual celebration of folk music, song and dance takes place over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 25th to Monday 28th May 2018 in the historic seaport town of Fishguard.

Most events are still free with concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, sing-a-rounds, sessions, family events & more.

Line-up

Acts announced so far include Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, Jim Causley, Allan yn y Fan, Granny's Attic, Winter Wilson, Pilgrims Way, The Trials of Cato, Ange Hardy, The Rumblestrutters, Rapsquillion, Quarto, The Rob Lear Trio, and more, with more to be announced.

Fishguard

Fishguard’s 19th Folk Festival brings together its unique mix of local talent and well-known performers to provide four days of songs, tunes and dance. Most events are still free, and whether you want to play, sing, dance or just watch and listen, there is always a choice of things to do in throughout this fun-packed friendly festival. Add in the beauty of the location on the world famous Pembrokeshire coast and you have the perfect weekend.

Other events

Other events are expected to include a family twmpath, free instrument and voice workshops, meet the artist events, busks, informal music and song sessions and a real ale bar. Everyone is a part of the entertainment - not just a spectator. There are lots of opportunity to 'do your own thing'.
