Field View Festival this year expands from a one day event to three days from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th August with the site opening at 6pm on the friday with an acousitc night and cinema. Held again at a secret location near Little Somerford, Chippenham, in Wiltshire.
The line up for Friday from 6pm will include Rumbaba Deluxe (headline), 360 (unplugged), and Sam Green. Saturday from 2pm until 2am line-up includes the.Beat Hustler + Sincopate T (DJ Set), Lazy Habits (headline), Old School Tie, Lets Tea Party, Picture Book, Motherload, Jupitus First, Jazz Trio, and some special guests.
Friday night's bill is going to be 3 or maybe 4 acoustic acts with a cinema. Saturday, is a day of bands, plus DJ's, workshops, speakers, and face painting. On Sunday everyone chips in to help tidy the site.
The festival is famed for its not for profit attitude, intimacy, green issues, and quality of music. There is camping available, no cash machine, and no bar, but lots of reasonably priced locally produced food, tea will be served from 7.30pm on Friday and breakfast from 7am every morning.
