Festinho is held at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford, Suffolk from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September 2009 and showcases musical talent from the UK and Brazil during the weekend.
The line-up of bands includes The Fontanas, Chris Difford, Anoushka Lucas, The Jon Kennedy Band, Carnival Collective, James Yuill, Nancy Wallace, Dollboy, Emily Davies, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Mawkin: Causley, The Leisure Society, Spiro, Ted Barnes, Dr. Rubberfunk, and Daft Pink, with more to be announced.
The confirmed line-up of DJs includes AGT Rave Crew, Lindy Layton, Mixmaster Morris, Pete Lawrence, Jon Kennedy, Dr Em & Funky Jim.

The festival offers a line-up of up-and-coming talent alongside more famous names across all musical genres, as well as art spaces, film screenings and plenty of Brazilian flavour.
There will be a cocktail bar, a disco shed, Feel Good Woods, a kids play area, Body & Soul healing zone, cream teas, daily BBQs, fancy dress, Brazilian art workshops, samba, percussion, art exhibition areas, campfire sessions, high quality camping and plenty of good toilets with hot showers. Site opens at 3pm Friday, and everyone must be off site by noon on Monday.
All profits from the event go to the ABC Trust (www.abctrust.org.uk), a UK based charity that supports community art projects in Brazil geared towards developing skills and interests amongst less privileged children.
