The Rochdale Feel Good Festival, a celebration of entertainment, food and culture, now in its fifth year takes place on Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September 2012.

The two day FREE event is a celebration of entertainment and culture featuring a high profile line-up of celebrity chefs and music acts.

Line-up

Martha Reeves and the Vandellas will headline the Rochdale Feel Good Festival this summer. Plus Jean Christophe Novelli, The Beat, Brian Turner, The Heartbreaks, Jesca Hoop, Shinies, Andrew Nutter, Aazam Ahmad, Alison Seagrave, We Are Willow, a battle of the bands, and more acts will be confirmed at a later date.

The festival

The festival will include live music across a number of indoor venues and a big main stage against the backdrop of Rochdale Town Hall. In addition to a full programme of live music, the free festival will include a food stage and 2 day market. Celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli has already been announced as one of the top chefs set to host live cooking demonstrations in the festivals celebrity kitchen.

There is no minimum age for attending the festival, however under 16s should be accompanied by an adult at all times and are kept away from the high density area directly in front of the main stage.
