The Vibraphonic Festival takes place from 29th February to 16th March 2008. It is an annual occasion with events taking place across Exeter at various venues including the Exeter Phoenix, the Cavern, Barnfield, Northbridge Inn, The Hub, The Globe, Timepiece, and Exeter University's Lemon Grove. Vibraphonic is a festival of reggae, soul, jazz, funk, blues, hip hop, drum & bass, and house music.

A wide variety of artists and DJs are expected and there are also workshops, demonstrations, dance performances, films and grafitti art.

The full line-up has been announced and includes The Audio Bullys, Gilles Peterson, Pama International, Humphrey Lyttelton And His Band, Basquiat Strings, Red Snapper, Galactic, Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), Sway, The Grandmothers Of Invention, Will White (Propellerheads), Ben & Lex, James Gill, Misty In Roots, Heartland Reggae, Gaudi, Temple Hedz, Trash Fashion, Acoustic Ladyland, The Mitchell Brothers, Asian Dub Foundation, Mr Scruff, Ska Cubano, My Toys Like Me, Michael Messer and Imperial Leisure.
