The End of the Road festival caters for about 5,000 people, and takes place between the 15-17th September 2006. The gardens open in the afternoon on the Friday, with the first bands starting to play around 6pm. Then there will be two full festival days on Saturday and Sunday, with bands starting around 12pm and finishing at midnight.

Confirmed bands include Josh Ritter (Friday headliner), Badly Drawn Boy (Saturday headliner), Ryan Adams (Sunday headliner), plus James Yorkston, British Sea Power, Kathryn Williams, Darren Hayman, Memory Band, Sunny Day Sets Fire, Boy Omega, Brakes, Electric Soft Parade, My Latest Novel, Boy Least Likely To, Ralfe Band, Absentee, the Bright Space, Chris T-T, Crosbi, Ladyfuzz, Rose Kemp, Jeremy Warmsley, Paris Motel, Barbarossa, Stuffy & the Fuses, Dan Arborise, Gethin Pearson & the Scenery, Merz, Simple Kid, Holly Golightly, Metronomy, Things in Herds, Hush the Many, Emmy the Great, M Craft and Uncle John & Whitlock. The Larmer Tree Gardens is about 2.5-3 hours drive from London, and falls on the border between North Dorset and Wiltshire, fairly close to Stonehenge. It's a beautiful venue with gorgeous views and with peacocks and huge parrots roaming / flying around freely both inside the gardens and in the field.
