The Melodrome Theatre & Secret Social who will take over the green field. By day there will be a variety of theatre shows and musicals, and by night, the Melodrome Ladies Drinking Club will be inviting you into their exclusive boudoir for a rum and gin soaked club night!

Kids

This year’s ‘Out of this World’ theme for the Kidz Arena will take the kids into space and to all things beyond, above and away from our earth, into a land of dragons and dreams! The area will be decorated with colourful planets, stars, other worldly creatures and larger than life flora and fauna. Most of the craft workshops will follow the same theme and kids will be able to make their own flags, martian masks and space shields, as well as help make carnival dragons and banners along with many other exciting workshops.

A colour filled parade will tour the site on Sunday afternoon making as much noise as possible. Children are able to make and take home items made from recycled or unwanted materials that have been locally sourced where possible.

Physical activities such as parachute games and kids yoga sessions will also be available, and as children are accompanied at all times, parents get to share the memorable experiences.

Markets

The Rheged Market will be the festival's bazaar with a multitude of stalls. Food and drink will also be situated here.

Carbon emissions from the festival will be calculated by the local Crichton Carbon Centre after the festival. The carbon will be compensated locally within Galloway with large tree plantations of a broadleaf or fruit nature. Kids from local schools will be involved in the project, which will be on-going as the trees grow and are cared for.

The Eden Festival is now organised by Galloway Arts Community Interest company, a non profit organisation run by members of the local community.

More information will be here when available.
