The Eclectica Music Festival takes place on Saturday 9th August 2008 at Victoria Square in St. Helens (between Manchester and Liverpool).

The open-air festival is completely FREE opens at 12 noon, and will provide nearly ten hours of exciting and innovative entertainment, combining established acts and new talent.

The headline act for this year's event is Shed Seven. Support acts include: Levellers, Amsterdam, The Maybes?, The Cubical, Ghenghis Grimes, Mama Beani, The Hang Project, Red Orchestra, The Little Hydes, Beaker Folk of the Bronze Age, Silent Thunder, and Ariel Chambers.
