The majority of festival events take place in Langney, in two schools and a community centre on the east side of town from Friday 4th until Monday 7th May 2018.
The emphasis is on dancing, to participate in, watch, lead and make music for, covering a wide range of tastes and styles from Playford, English Social, American and International Folk Dance, with evening dances in those styles.
The first acts confirmed are:- Andrew Shaw, Andre van de Plas, Irish Set Dance with Maggie Daniel, Lisa Greenlead, Persons of Quality, Renaissance Footnotes, Corry Verheijen, Kalia Kliban, Lynne Render, Herve Drean & Rachel Goodwin, English Contra Dance Band, Mollie & Ali, and Gog Magog Molly Dancers.
Early bird tickets are priced at £92 (before 31 December 2017) and will be available from 1st November and a caravan pitch is an additional £35.
The full price will be £108
In order for folk fans to concentrate on dancing and playing, all the venues are close together, within a short walking distance. Also close by is a canteen for snacks, the school which provides light meals and a bar for hard and soft drinks.
There are plenty of places to stay around town as well as local camping facilities.
More information will be here when available.
