Download returns for its third year as a three day festival from 10th/12th June. The Friday is an "indie day", and the Saturday an "Ozzfest day", with around 100 bands over the three days.

The headline acts are Feeder (Friday), Black Sabbath (Saturday) and System of a Down (Sunday). Many more acts are also confirmed across three stages - see here for the details so far.

The campsite opens Wednesday 8th June at midday. The festival gates open at midday on Friday, and 10am on Saturday ands Sunday. The campsite closes at midday on Monday 13th June.

Note that weekend tickets without camping do NOT include car parking - parking is £5 extra if bought at the same time as the festival ticket. Weekend tickets with camping do include car parking. Campervan tickets are available from 0870 1421210. Day tickets are now available, priced at £45 for the Friday, or £50 for Saturday and £50 for Sunday. Hotel packages with tickets are also available.

The bars stay open after the entertainment has finished, and running until 2am (Friday to Sunday) they'll be an after-hours Campsite Entertainment Zone, which has a café, beer stall, funfair rides, various shops, and a cinema. Note that you may NOT bring any alcohol onto the site.

Markets should include a variety of food from around the world, as well as clothes, jewellery, massages, piercing & tattoos, organic foods, souvenirs, merchandise, chairs, and other stuff.

Site facilities should include phone charge points, internet cafe and cinema.

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian over 21. No children under 5 years will be permitted.

Highlights will be broadcast each day from midday on Kerrang! 105.2 radio, with recorded highlights of some of the sets, backstage gossip and interviews with artists as well as the station's usual selection of rock anthems of the moment.
