This is the 6th annual Cwlwm Celtaidd (translates as Celtic Knot), Celtic Festival of Wales taking place from 7th - 9th March 2008 at Trecco Bay Holiday Park, Porthcawl, Wales.

With a main stage open until 1.45am every night and a smaller bar showcasing new acts, there's a packed programme of concerts, ceilidhs and workshops throughout the weekend. Acts for 2008 include Mabon, on Friday; Dafydd Iwan & Ar Log, with support from Gwenan Gibbard, on the Thursday night in the Grand Pavilion; Beck Sian, on Sunday afternoon; and Shooglenifty, headlining on Saturday night.

Accommodation costs are reasonable with an eight berth mobile home costing around £120 for the weekend - that's £15 each BUT prices have not yet been confirmed for 2008, so may be slightly more. All caravans include a furnished lounge and dining area, one double and one or two twin bedroom/s, and convertible beds in the lounge. Prices include gas, electricity and heating but it may be cold so you are advised to bring extra bedding.

All weekend tickets include a free pass to the leisure pool facilities.

FURTHER TICKET INFO:
Children aged 9 years and under get in free if accompanied by an adult. Youth tickets are available to 10-15 year olds.
