around the festival site

This is definitely the kind of festival where you bring your kids if they're happy to remain on a picnic blanket or lolling in a camping chair listneing to the acts. There is at the rear of the arena a storytelling area, and an area for making stuff with stickers, and a few other entertainments but it doesn't focus on providing workshops, have a dedicated kids field, or anything like that for your little ones.

If they do get bored there are a few shops for them to wander around in, they're likely to be able travel around the arena on their own, you should be able to keep an eye on them whilst they have a little bit of freedom, just ask them not to leave the arena.

There is always the option to wander, if you leave the field at gate six, you come to the Oxford Canal, and can walk along it to the village to explore further.
