Crawley Folk Festival '10

Crawley Folk Festival is a weekend of folk and traditional music which runs from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th June in the wooded grounds of The Hawth Theatre, Crawley. The annual Crawley folk festival is a three day celebration of the best traditional and contemporary music that the folk scene has to offer!

Line-up

The line-up includes Horsham Folk Club, Changing Horses, Ade Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds, Scarecrow, Jess Morgan, The Rosellys, Touchstone, Pyrates, Martin Simpson Trio, Hannah & Sam, Tyde, Brian Finnegan Trio, and Jon Boden & RK. The 2010 Crawley Folk Festival will offer three days of family friendly entertainment, with more than 30 bands playing over five stages. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Tickets

An early bird adult ticket is priced at £37.50 (full price £40) for the weekend. Weekend ticket holders also have the chance to purchase discounted tickets for the two gigs on Friday 25 June - Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds (£10), Studio Blues Night (£7.50) and the children's show The Scarecrow (£4) on Sat 26 June at 11am. On site

Expect the facilities to include a theatre, five stages, a storytellers tent, free workshops and foyer performances, an even larger real ale tent, craft stalls - plus demonstrations in Morris and traditional folk dance and surrounding the theatre is lots of outside space.

Ceilidh

The festival is expected to once again have a traditional ceilidh on Saturday afternoon and a stage which will play host to Irish and Celtic dancing and music throughout Sunday.

Camping

There are on site camping facilities priced at £10 which offer lots of space, and 24 toilet and shower facilities.
