The 3rd annual Cottingham Folk Festival is held in various venues in the East Yorkshire village of Cottingham across the August bank holiday weekend from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August 2017.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include Sophie Ellis-Bextor (separately ticketed, £32.50), Scouting For Girls, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Merry Hell, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jess and The Bandits, The Jar Family, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Laura Oakes, Luke & Mel, The Mighty and the Moon, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Lucy Spraggan, Scott Matthews, and Fudgey.

Tickets are priced at £105 for the weekend. Individual concert tickets for most shows are also available.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Directions

From the South and West of England, take the M1 to junction 32 to join the M18 northwards. At the end of the M18 join the M62 eastwards continuing on to the A63. Take the exit towards the Humber Bridge and join the A164 northwards, following the signs to to Cottingham (approximately five miles).

From the North of England, if travelling southwards on the A1, take the A1079 from York (signposted "Hull"). Leave at the junction for Beverley and join the A164 southwards, following the signs for Cottingham (approximately 4 miles).

Parking

There are three main car parks in Cottingham, all very close to the venues. Two are short stay (one on Market Green and the other in King Street - adjacent to the Co-operative Supermarket) and one is long stay (in King Street - behind Heron Foods). On-street parking is also available throughout the village.
