last updated : Mon 6th Oct 08 The fourth Cottingham Springboard Music Festival takes place from Friday 29th May through to Sunday 31st May and the eight stages in venues around Cottingham, near Hull in East Yorkshire will once again play host to the artists. The festival is completely free. Over 150 acts are expected to be performing on five stages over the weekend, featuring a wide variety of styles including acoustic, indie, folk, jazz, rock and blues. This year see the music spread across seven stages at venues including The King William IV, The Hallgate Tavern, The Blue Bell, The Duke Of Cumberland, The Cross Keys, and Elliott's. GETTING THERE By train - The rail journey between Hull Paragon railway station and Cottingham takes only seven minutes. By bus - Cottingham and Willerby are also very close to each other, five minutes by car and if using public transport the number 64 bus connects the two villages.
